Mocassins (as well as loafers) have always been a synonym for classical, preppy elegance, for feminine style with a vintage touch. We all imagine moccasins as something that perfectly works with piqué-cotton, pastel-coloured little dresses, or with Capri pants and a polo, maybe topped with a pearl necklace. But… hello, it’s 2016! You can’t still be thinking that way! Yes, indeed: moccasins are totally back in fashion, and several influencers are wearing them, completely subverting their original preppy aesthetic. Are you curious now?
